A small studio, making furniture that lasts.
VANSOUL began with a simple frustration: furniture that looked considered but was not built to be kept. We wanted to make the opposite.
Every piece is drawn, prototyped and made in Cape Town. We work in solid timber because it can be repaired, refinished and passed on — and because it changes gently with the light of the room it stands in.
We keep the range deliberately small. Six categories, each proportioned carefully and offered in solid Oak with a choice of finishes, so that the choices you make are meaningful rather than endless.
Nothing is held in stock. Your piece is made after you order it, by the same hands, in the same workshop, every time.
